Over the past year, the City of Genoa has been updating its Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). This ordinance establishes development regulations in the City of Genoa. A few examples include:
- setbacks
- zoning types
- signage
- use charts
- lighting
A draft of the Unified Development Ordinance is available here. A Public Hearing will be held during the Plan Commission meeting on October 9th, 2025. The Plan Commission meeting will begin at 6:30 PM. The Plan Commission welcomes the public to review the document and provide comment. Following the Public Hearing and recommendation from the Plan Commission, the City Council will consider the Unified Development Ordinance for final approval.
