Information Request: Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
To make an information request you will need to fill out a FOIA Request Form. This form should be submitted to the FOIA Officer as noted below. Once submitted, the form will be reviewed by the FOIA Officer and the requester will be responded to in accordance with the requirements of state law.

Please carefully read the information below. Illinois law requires public bodies to comply with or deny a FOIA request within five business days unless the time for response is extended for an additional five business days, as allowed under the law. A request for records to be used for a commercial purpose requires a public body to respond within 21 business days.
RECORDS ON FILE:
The City keeps a wide range of documents on file including but not limited to: building permits, budget reports, budgets, audits, meeting agendas and minutes, and planning and zoning documents.

FOIA Requests are accepted via e-mail at the addresses above, facsimile, and personal delivery or U.S. mail at the addresses below.
HOURS TO INSPECT/REVIEW RECORDS:
8:30 AM to 12 PM and 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Monday – Friday
