Finance Department

The Finance Department provides budgetary, accounting and financial services for all City departments, the Water and Sewer fund, Special Service Funds, and the Police Pension Fund. This department is responsible for the City's annual audit, budget and tax levy. Other responsibilities include payroll, water billing and collections, accounts payable and receivable and personnel benefits. The Finance Department exercises general supervision over the fiscal affairs of the City of Genoa. 

 

Customer Service

 At the Finance Department, you can: 

  • Pay water and sewer bills  
  • Pay the fine for a City Citation
  • Pay for permits and licenses
  • Set-up a water/sewer account 

We accept cash, check, or money order. Credit card payments are accepted online and at City Hall additional fees apply for credit card transactions. A 24-hour drop box is located at City Hall in the west parking lot.
