SEASONAL LABORER

The City of Genoa is seeking applicants for a Seasonal Laborer in the Public Works Department to perform a variety of job duties with their primary job responsibility being mowing of City Property, additional job duties may also include but are not limited to grounds maintenance, water and sewer system maintenance, streets maintenance, etc. This position will require the operation of a variety of equipment.

Qualified applicants must be able to read and have the ability to work diligently with team spirit and have a basic knowledge of the use and application of lawnmowers, weed whackers, leaf blowers, hand tools, and some power tools. Most assignments require physical stamina, heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds and sometimes working in inclement weather conditions.

Special Requirements

Must be 18 years or older with a valid Driver’s License to apply.

Hourly Pay:  $14.00
