Riverbend Central Park- OSLAD Grant
Riverbend Central Park- OSLAD Grant
The City of Genoa will be applying for an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) Grant in the fall of 2023 to improve Central Park in Riverbend. The City is reaching out to the residents of the Riverbend Subdivision for feedback on what they would like to see done with their community park. If awarded the Grant, the grant would pay for 50% of the improvements with the City paying for the remainder of the project without causing tax increases. When submitting responses, please keep in mind we are looking to add amenities that would be both cost effective and reasonably sustainable over time. To submit a survey response, click here.
Survey data will be collected through April 15, 2023 and once the data is analyzed, a concept plan will be drafted and Public Hearing held to gather additional feedback from residents before the plan is finalized and the grant application is submitted in September.
