Genoa Days is June 6 through June 9 this year! Below is the list of events: 

The City of Genoa’s Tree Board is excited to announce that the Board will be having a Most Beautiful Tree Contest. Contestants can submit to City Hall, c/o Janice Melton, a picture of or paragraph about what they think is the most beautiful tree in town. Please be sure to include the Contestant’s name and address of the tree. Janice Melton, the City’s Arborist, will then photograph and evaluate the tree. Trees will be judged on beauty, character for the species, and health.  Winners will be announced at the Pioneer Day event in August.  The winner of the Most Beautiful Tree Contest will be photographed with the winning tree and submitted to the paper.
