Lead Service Line Information

In 2020, the City of Genoa began evaluating the water service lines within the city. As part of the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) requirements, all communities with a water supply must submit a water service line material inventory and a lead service line replacement plan. The City of Genoa submitted its inventory and replacement plan on April 15, 2024, which can be accessed through the provided links.

For any questions or if you're interested in having your lead water service line replaced, please contact the Assistant Public Works Director, Paul Naugle, at 815-784-7131.
