In 2024, the City initiated Pavement Condition Assessments for every street to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current road conditions. These assessments enable the Public Works Department to make informed decisions about pavement maintenance and repairs.
Building on this effort, the City is now developing a 5-Year Pavement Resurfacing Program aimed at proactively maintaining asphalt that is beginning to show wear and replacing surfaces that are beyond repair. This initiative will help enhance roadway longevity, safety, and overall infrastructure quality.
