The pruning, trimming, and removal of hazardous trees is a preventative measure that preserves the tree population and maintains the appearance of the City. In order to preserve and maintain the tree population, the City initiates an annual tree trimming program that focuses on pruning trees in select areas throughout the City. The City strives to maintain each area of Genoa approximately every five years. Please see the map below to determine what year we will be performing tree trimming in each section of town.
