Verizon is installing a temporary tower next to the north water tower. This is so Verizon can temporarily remove their antennas from the tower on Prairie Street. This is necessary so the water tower can be repaired and repainted which is scheduled to start late July. Once the water tower repairs and repainting are complete, Verizon will reinstall the antennas and remove the temporary tower.
The temp tower height is 104 feet.
